Star Wars Pilots – Luke and Shira
Posted by microforever in Uncategorized on March 5, 2011
Star Wars figures sure have come a long way in both details, likeness and articulations. I pick up Luke (Hoth Snowspeeder pilot gear) to go with the new Snowspeeder and Shira Brie from one of the pilot Evolution set Hasbro put out since I need a pilot for Tie Fighter. If you read Marvel comic in the mid-80′s, you might remember her as one of the character in the Marvel Star Wars series. Shira is actually an Imperial agent and one of the Emperor’s Hand. She was shot down by Luke who was guided by the Force which sense her as being agent of the Dark Side, while piloting infiltrate mission in Tie Fighter for the Rebel Alliance. Shira likeness is somewhat questionable but she is still a very good figure and it’s nice to see even lesser known classic comic character get made into an action-figure.

Welcome to microforever blog!
Posted by microforever in Uncategorized on February 27, 2011
Since anyone and everyone seem to have a blog these days, I figure it would be fun to start one. If you found your way here from my website microforever.com then you probably already figured out that this is a blog about toys namely the Microman. For the others who stumble here due to boredom or misclick well, this is a blog that will be mostly about little obsure toy line by Takara called Microman from 1970′s along with toys related to Microman (or sometimes not really related but I just want to talk about them).
My name is Paul, and I have been collecting these little sci-fi action figures on and off for the last 15 years. I also run microforever website, which was originally created as a personal archive for information about Microman. So why start a blog when I already have a website, well frankly it’s because I want to play with WordPress and I figure this would be a quick way to upload and share my thought about Microman and other toys that I find interesting without having them clutter up Microforever frontpage.
Anyway since this is an experiment in progress, don’t expect this blog to go on forever (ha!) because I might find blogging to be boring, tedious and too much sharing to my liking, but for now I hope you enjoy the ride into my micro-verse.
Hello world!
